It’s a unique platform for City Managers and CIOs to knowledge-share challenges and opportunities in the development and execution of Smart Cities, establish best practice and determine a strategy to leverage public-private partnerships.

Building on the recent thought-leadership dialogue and roundtable discussions hosted by WBA with CIOs and senior officials from leading cities including New York, San Francisco, Barcelona, London, San Jose Dublin, Delhi, Mexico City, Calgary and Singapore the Connected City Advisory Board will continue to discuss the development of the Connected City plans, the creation of public private ecosystems and collaboration mechanisms for resource contributions.
Connected City Advisory Board has released the first whitepaper, outlining the status of City Wi-Fi around the world.
The whitepaper reveals that activity in wireless is at an unprecedented level as cities seek expert assistance to deploy the technology; with over 75% of respondents saying they have plans in place to significantly increase investment in Wi-Fi.
