Chapter 4

Creating CD Labels

• Click New Document

• Templates on Office Online

• Click the Labels hyperlink

• Use template designs

• Use WordArt, clip art, photos, distinctive fonts, colors, and/or interesting backgrounds

Creating a Calendar

• Use Calendar Template or Wizard

• Use calendar templates in Microsoft Template Gallery

• Add interest by using WordArt, clip art, photos, text inside cells

Creating Return Address Labels

• Use Avery label 5160

• Insert clip art in a text box

• Create another text box containing return address

• Select each text box—hold down Shift key and click each box

• Click Draw and then Group

Return Address Labels (cont.)

• Select first cell, copy to second and third cells

• Select first row and click Copy button

• Position insertion point in second row

• Click Edit and then Paste Rows

• Press F4 to repeat last command until page of labels is filled

• Delete any empty rows

Creating an Award Certificate

• Change to landscape orientation

• Add page border

• Draw signature lines using Line button on the Drawing toolbar

• Click Draw and then Align or Distribute

• Use Scribble in AutoShape to create signature or access Language Bar
