• Create a Personal website– Login using LinkBlue account to create your own site

at http://scholar.uky.edu/ – Enable users to edit your site

• Create a Project website- – Project sites can be private or public facing- you give

access to users• Contact BMI support personnel to create a Project site• Dongying Zhong, dongying.zhong@uky.edu or 323-7134

Select Login Button at bottom of page to create a new site or access your existing website

Do not use spaces or capital letters

Click here to see if name is available

If name is available, this message will appear

Standard site appears this way until you customize the appearance

• Once your site has been created and your URL assigned, you can access your site to revise at any time

• Login using LinkBlue Account

Change the Title of your siteorUpload a picture

Hover by the Name or the photo box and an arrow will appearSelect Configure

New settings are displayed on front of site and on the login page

Select a Theme for your site

Select a theme for your website from the control panel

Some have different colors for the templateSave settings

Build your site featureslayoutmenus

Select settings you want to add to your website- Make private or public, or leave disabled

Save your changes

Customization for Bio/CV

Select your site layout

Select layout for each section of your site

Select Menus that should show on front of website (Primary) or Secondary

Select Settings

Link to Google Analytics Account for visitor information

Save settings

Add users to your account to allow edits

Manage Content

Add New Information• Pages • Announcements• Calendar Events• Links• Gallery Images• Book Page• Person

Save Announcement

Announcements appear based on saved settings for site appearance

Review current, upcoming, and past events

Add a new event

Remember to save

Hover over event for more details

Sidebar shows upcoming events
