CoP Meeting Post-Event Job AidCreate the Survey

1. Log in to https://www.surveymonkey.com/ Username: atlantaastd Password: ATDsurveys0

2. Click + Create Survey:

3. Select to Copy an Existing Survey, select the survey you wish to copy, and then type a Title and a Nickname. Finally, click Continue >>:

4. Click Preview Survey:

5. Scroll down, select Next until you get to the end. Check for any edits you want to make:

6. Click Done:

7. Make any edits and continue to preview until you are satisfied with the survey. Then, click Send Survey>>:

8. You now have a link to include in the email:

Mark Attendance1. In Admin view, navigate to the Event in Wild Apricot. Then, click Registrants:

2. Click the Check In radio button for all registrants that showed up:

Add a Registrant (Members)1. Click Add Registrant:

2. Click Select existing contact:

3. Begin typing the name. When the contact appears in the list, select the name, then click Select:

4. Select Members: Free as the Registration Type, then click Save:

5. Click Checkins to check in the registrant, then click Back:

Add a Registrant (Non-Members)1. Click Add Registrant:

2. Complete the form with email, name, and any other information the registrant provided, select Non-Member as the Registration Type, then click Save:

3. Click Checkins to check the registrant in to the event. If the registrant paid Cash, click Confirm without Invoice:

4. Click Back:

Bring all cash registration fees to the Chief Financial Officer at the next Chapter Meeting.

Email the Survey Link1. To make sure only people who actually attended receive the survey link, select Checked in as the

Filter, then click Email registrants:

2. Select a template (most SIGs and GIGs have their own), then click Next:

3. Copy the body of the email:

4. Paste the text into Notepad (Windows) or TextEdit (Mac) or any other plain text editor – do NOT use Word. Paste the survey link from SurveyMonkey and make any other edits (like Dropbox links or messages from the location sponsor). Doing this externally from Wild Apricot prevents a recurring issue of links to old surveys going out despite the appearance of the new link in the WA editor. When done, copy the text of the email:

5. Paste the edited body text into email form, then click Preview & send:

6. Click the button to send a test email to yourself:

7. Test the survey link and any other links in the email you receive:

8. Return to the website. You can go back and edit as necessary. Always re-send a test email to yourself before emailing everyone. When satisfied, click Send to X recipients:

9. Confirm this action:
