New Jersey Biomass Opportunity

2

• Renewable Energy Incentive

Program (REIP) provides rebates

for sustainable biomass

• Ranges between 1000-3000/kW

depending on project size and

application

• Higher incentives for cogeneration

systems like AgriPower

• Must be sustainable biomass

Creates New Technology Opportunities

3

AgriPower technology provides

• Distributed biomass combustion – brings the plant to the fuel

• Economics from disposal of waste

• Diversified fuel capability – combust a range of indigenous fuels

• Compliance with New Jersey environmental standards – 2nd only

to California

• Combined heat and power solutions – high efficiency systems

• Customized to meet customer requirements

• “Best in class” components

Our Systems Can Use A Wide Variety of

Biomass Feed-Stocks as Fuel

Clockwise: (1) Wood; (2) Woodchips; (3) Sugar Cane Bagasse; and Fast-Growing

Energy Crops Such As (4) Willows And Poplars; (5) Giant Miscanthus; And

(6) Jatropha.

12

Our Systems Can Use A Wide Variety Of

Agricultural And Forest Materials As Fuel

Clockwise: (1) Crop Waste; (2) Oil Palm; (3) Forest Residuals; (4) Timber Slash And

Brush; And (5) Cow, Horse and Poultry Manure.

13

Our Value Proposition AgriPower’s technology can produce significant cost-savings for

its customers by:

1.Reducing or eliminating waste disposal expenses

2.Inexpensively producing electricity and heat energy suitable for

many co-generation applications

3.Reducing purchased oil, diesel fuel, and natural gas costs

4.Generating tax benefits, carbon credits and subsidies

The resulting savings are expected to provide a ROI in about three years (before subsidies and tax benefits)

14

• Heating (buildings, greenhouses)

• Hot Water & Steam (kitchens, showers, laundries, swimming pools, hospitals)

• Air conditioning (commercial buildings)

• Refrigeration (supermarkets, food and flower storage sites)

• Water purification and desalination (disaster and military sites)

• Making ice (disaster and military sites)

• Drying and bonding (kilns, lumber mills)

• Pre-drying excessively wet fuels (paper and pulp sludge)

Potential Co-Generation Applications:

In Conclusion, AgriPower Will Provide

15

• Cogeneration systems with electrical output in

increments of 125 kW up to 2.2 MW and thermal

energy up to 60 MMBTU/hr

• Systems which are fully automated and operate

without expensive, on-site engineers or

technicians

• An initial System installed in the New

Jersey/New York Metro Area in the second

quarter of 2012 with demonstrations expected to

commence shortly thereafter

• Flexible sale and leasing programs
