> RADCOM shutdown – Friday 14 August> SPECTRA go-live – Wednesday 2 September

> Broadcast Service licences (and associated apparatus licences) will transition to SPECTRA in early 2016

> Spectrum licensing transitioned to SPECTRA in April 2013: digital dividend auction & expiring spectrum licences reissue

Contingencies – SPECTRA

> During the shutdown period, the ACMA will be conducting the final data migration, deploying the final code and making final checks and tests.

> In the event that unacceptable system or performance issues are identified, contingencies include:

> Extend the shutdown for a short period> Restart RADCOM and associated systems

Contingencies – Licensing

> During the shutdown period, the ACMA will not be able to issue radiocommunications licences through either RADCOM or SPECTRA.

> The ACMA will be able to manually issue licences if need be and will consider whether to do so if circumstances warrant> For example, there is an emergency or an urgent licensing

requirement that could not have been anticipated.> Routine licence applications will not be processed during the

shutdown period.
