2. CENTRAL CONTENTS OF THE PROPOSALS FOR THE CHAPTER

1. Lay vocational itinerary (BEING A LAY MARIST)

It implies intentionally offering a consistent proposal to those who feel called to live the Gospel in the Marist way.

2. Bonding - Association The formation-process itinerary involves a proposal regarding both the forms of bonding to the charism and an International Lay Association.

3. Joint formation with the brothers Some General Chapters and the Colloquium on Formation held at the Hermitage have opened new possibilities of joint initial and ongoing formation for brothers and lay people.

4. Lay articulation Envision forms of lay organization and articulation at the Provincial, Regional and International levels that can foster the lay processes of the future.

5. Communion between brothers and laity The future of the Marist charism is a future of communion between those who live out Champagnat’s spirit. What kind of experiences should be encouraged in this respect, as a joint effort between brothers and lay people?

6. CMMF update The great challenges are to recover the Movement’s initial sense, motivate its members, and foster participation in the Global Framework’s process.

7. Other possible points for the proposals to the Chapter
