Forest Floor Some animals who live on the Forest Floor are shy, but look very dangerous like:• Jaguars• Poisonous Dart Frog• Some Snakes It is dark on the forest floor because the trees in the canopy are blocking the light. Scientists believe that only 2% of sunlight gets through to the forest floor.

Under StoreyA poisonous dart frog can kill you with one little touch of its skin. Many animals are camouflage there, these animals live there:• Bears• Spiders• Snakes• Gorillas Most plants there are tall so they can get the most rain and sunlight, its hot and damp there as well.

CanopyIts lighter than the under storey because you are on top of the trees not below. The trees are 100 feet tall. There's a rare chance of getting 150 feet tall trees. Some animals that live in the Emergent layer live in the canopy too like:• Snakes• Birds• MonkeysAlso some animals colours warn others not to eat them.

EmergentDid you know that the trees are as tall as skyscrapers. The trees are tall because they need to get the most rain and sunlight. Also the trees are shaped like umbrellas. The animals there need to fly, swing and climb like: • Monkeys• Harpy eagles• Snakes• Spiders
