This course will provide a comprehensive overview of APTA Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapy clinical practice guidelines and protocols for congenital muscular torticollis management and evaluation and management of infants with cranial deformities. Diagnosis, measurement, and intervention strategies will be presented for infants diagnosed with congenital muscular torticollis. The use of cranial remolding devices will be presented, including discussions of severity scales, timeline for treatment, and coverage criteria for reimbursement. Appropriate clinical outcome measures and discharge planning will also be discussed. This course has been approved for 3.5 contact hours for PT/PTA/OT/OTA. Other healthcare professionals are welcome, too! Seating is limited to 50 individuals.
