Tipos de conexion al TPC

Dependiendo del tipo de Storage, el TPC se comunica a esos equipos a través de dos formas:

-Interfase nativa-Agente CIMOM

Los equipos que se comunican por interfase nativa son:•DS8000•SAN Volume Controller•XIV•Storwize V7000

Los equipos que deben utilizar un agente CIMOM instalado en un servidor son:•DS3K, DS4K, DS5K•Switches y Directores Brocade•Librerias de backup•Equipos antiguos como Shark

Los equipos que tienen un agente CIMOM embebido en el mismo equipo:•DS8000 con firmware antiguo •Switches Cisco

CIMOM Agents configuration : LSI

2) Agregar la definición del CIMOM Agent en el TPC en caso no exista

1) En el servidor en donde está instalado el CIMOM:a)Ingresar a la ruta de configuración del agente CIMOM (ver nota)b)En esa ruta abrir el archivo firmware_soportado.txt y validar si el firmware del equipo DS se encuentra dentro de los firmware indicados en el archivo, caso contrario buscar otro CIMOM. SI SE AGREGA UN STORAGE CON UN FIRMWARE NO SOPORTADO PUEDE CAUSAR INDISPONIBILIDAD AL EQUIPO STORAGEc)Abrir el archivo ArrayHosts.txt y escribir la IP de una de las controladoras del DS.d)Reiniciar el servicio cimserver

“Configure Devices” wizard : Define an SVCUse existing uploaded key: This selection is the default. If you select this action, theAdmin Username and Admin Password fields are optional.

Upload new key:If you select this action, the Admin Username and Admin Passwordfields are required. Public key content is extracted from the private key that is provided in the Private SSH Key field and is uploaded to SAN Volume Controller or Storwize V7000.

Admin UsernameIf you selected Upload new key in the Select Key list, enter the name of a user who has the administrator role for the SAN Volume Controller or Storwize V7000 cluster

In the field Use a monitoring group or template, click the arrow and selectmonitoring group. When you include the SAN Volume Controller or StorwizeV7000 cluster in a monitoring group, Tivoli Storage Productivity Center managesthe cluster and a collection of other storage systems in the same manner.

In the field Select monitoring group, click the arrow and select SubsystemStandard Group.

Pasar a modo sudo. Subir servicios del Data Server:

– > startsrc -s TSRMsrv1

Subir servicios del Device Server:– > /opt/IBM/TPC/device/bin/aix/startTPCF.sh

●Verificar: ps -eaf | grep DataServer.jar– Nota: En caso no bajar y aparece:*PRD* root@ibmtpc01> stopsrc -s TSRMsrv1
