• August 15, 2011: Evergreen filed bankruptcy.
• August 31, 2011: Solyndra filed bankruptcy.
• September 8th, 2011: FBI raided on Solyndra that received $535M money loan guarantee from US government.
• Technical failures and political blame

• Solyndra represents US solar industry.• 1603 is abused.• Solar is corrupted.• Obama administration and democratic
party are under attack by republic party.

Chinese Manufacturers are its Victim
• Eventually Solarworld and other 7 US panel manufactures filed trade petitions again Chinese module manufacturers including countervailing and antidumping on October 19, 2011.
• US DOC announced 3%~5% countervailing tariff on Chinese cell panel on March 26th.
• The antidumping tariff will be announced on May 18th that is supposed to higher than the countervailing tariff.
• However, 2% cannot represent 98%>>>

• Eventually Solarworld and other 7 US panel manufactures represent only 2,000 solar employees.
• There are 100,000 solar employees in solar industry.
• The remaining 98,000 solar man and women include installers, developers, finance people, etc. They want less expensive solar panels.
• Most importantly, just like everyone in the world, US solar industry works hard to achieve grid parity, welcome less expensive Chinese panel.
• Facing misconception on US solar industry from Solyndra, SEIA BOD held meeting and passed emergency fund to conduct PR campaigns immediately against the misunderstanding.
