Graduate Teaching Assistantships at Colorado State University are available for each academic year. Assistantships provide a stipend for teaching and/or performance duties assigned by the School and include a tuition remission for both in-state and out-of-state tuition (excluding fees).*
AWARDED TO STUDENTS WITHIN THEIR MAJOR FIELD OF STUDY OR FOR SERVICES IN WHICHTHEY HOLD SPECIAL EXPERTISE:
• Assistantships range from 10-20 hours per week: — 20 hours provides full tuition waiver — 10 hours provides half tuition waiver• A portion of the health insurance costs
GTA OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDE:
• Performing in large/small ensembles• Administrative duties tailored to the skill set of the applicant• Teach/coach ensembles and individuals according the area of applicant expertise• Music Education GTAs teach coursework alongside faculty
GTPathways GTA RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assists instructor during class• Teaches class when instructor needs assistance• Communicates with students on graded information, class information, and course content• Grades all papers that are assigned for course assessments

• Completed application and all associated materials must be received by Feb. 15, 2018• Wind conducting deadline is Jan. 15, 2018
