From the Principal

Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 student’s NAPLAN results were sent home recently.

On average these students achieved very good results in comparison with

Western Australian public

s choo l s and w i th

Australian schools. Our

students achieved higher

average scores in nine of

fifteen tests and made

higher average progress in

eight of fifteen tests. It is

pleasing to see the hard

work of teachers and the

great support of parents

reflected in student

progress.

Thank you to all the dads

who came in to sit with their children for father’s day activities. It was

terrific to see so many fathers sitting shoulder to shoulder in classrooms

with beaming children proudly showing their work, reading and sharing

morning tea.

Thank you also to the P&C mums who wrapped hundreds of father’s day

presents and ran the father’s day stall so that students could take home

something for Dad.
