HIGH SCHOOL CREDIT REQUIREMENTS• To graduate, each student
must earn a minimum of 43 credits
• Each class = 1 credit– Semester 1 = 6 credits– Semester 2 = 6 credits– TOTAL = 12 credits per year
• 12 credits x 4 years = 48 credit opportunities

– Students who are successful in AP Human Geography:• Have a high level of academic curiosity and motivation• Want to pursue knowledge further and deeper• Are able to maintain a high level of organization with time, class materials, and assignments• Have a mature, focused work ethic and are able to maximize learning time in and out of the
classroom• Have strong reading, notetaking and writing skills and are able to read a college level text,
create summarizing notes and express themselves clearly in writing
