12:00 PM Lincoln & Douglass: Troop Recruitment Living historians Fritz Klein and David Shakes as Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass respectively explore the duo’s historical collaboration to recruit African-American troops, and their lifelong liaison.

1:00 PM Contraband Camps Join Andy and Sheron Finley to learn about refugee camps of self-freed persons in Union-occupied areas of the Confederacy.

1:30 PM Signal Songs Delve behind the lyrics of songs of the enslaved and lift your voices in song with Wallace House of the North Star Players.
