….and just a few search tips…… CIS Search – searches simultaneously , Document title,

Abstract, Document Number and Publisher fields.

To search these fields separately use “Advanced Search”

Boolean – All CIS search fields support

AND, OR, NOT expressions

Wild Card Search – replace a string of characters using

an asterisk * For example elect* returns all entries

containing elect – electrical, electronic, electrolytic, etc.

Phrase search – use radio button “Exact Phrase” or

place text in quote marks “ ”

Search by specific fields, eg Title, Document number, Abstract, Author

Detailed articles covering areas of topical , special or important interest
