When to OrderPlace orders at the earliest opportunity and no lessthan two months before the first rehearsal to avoidrush fees. Certain materials may need to be import-ed, in which case additional time is needed and animport fee is charged.
ContractsLicense to perform works in this catalogue, inwhole or in part, must be obtained in writing. Acontract must be signed and returned to the G. Schirmer Rental and Performance Dept. beforeperformance materials are shipped. If you requestscores and parts beyond the standard instrumenta-tion, additional fees will be incurred.
Cancelled OrdersIf an order is cancelled after a contract has beensigned and performance materials have beenshipped, a cancellation fee, including postage andimport charges, will be levied.
Returning MaterialsYou are responsible for the return of rental materi-als. Materials should be packed securely andreturned by tracked delivery or other securemethod within ten working days after the last per-formance; failure to do so will incur late returnfees. Parcels should contain your name, organiza-tion, and address. All materials should be completeand in good condition; you will be liable for all lossor damage. A charge will be made for any missingor defaced material at full replacement cost. Thisincludes marking in magic marker, colored pen,highlighter pen or the obliteration of text or music.
Digital Perusal ScoresScoresOnDemand is a library of digital perusalscores available for immediate download and view-ing, many of which are printable. Registered usershave access to complete opera and orchestrascores. All users have access to chamber musicscore samples. Scores, samples, and instructionsare at digital.schirmer.com.
Printed Perusal ScoresPrinted scores are loaned for up to 30 days by theG. Schirmer Rental and Performance Department.Loan extensions must be arranged with the RentalLibrary in writing to avoid incurring late-returnfees.
