Chimala Bible Institute• 2 Year School of Preaching• Offering:–Bachelor Degrees–Masters Degrees

• An English and Swahili Track• 6 Teachers (1 American)• 26 Bachelor/16 Masters Students

Chimala Hospital• Only Hospital within 50 miles• Oldest mission hospital associated

with churches of Christ.• 2000+ babies delivered each year.• Primarily treats HIV and Malaria

patients.

Primary & Secondary School• Lack of education of population.• One of the Top-Rated schools in the

country.• Sound Bible classes every day.

Jerry Herring Primary School• 500 Students• Teaches children up to 7th grade.• 8 Teachers

Secondary School• 250 Students• Serving children grades 8-11

Why are WE going?• There is a need for workers at the

Chimala Mission.• Chad’s experience in Nigeria, etc. gives

him excellent mission experience.• Rena’s experience as an RN can be

helpful at the hospital.• The kids can help teach children in

villages about Jesus and His church.

What will we do?• Chad will:–Direct the overall mission–Teach at the school of preaching–Lead by Example in mission evangelism.

• Rena will:–Home-school our children–Volunteer at the hospital (she is a RN)

What is our plan?• NOW: Fundraising phase• MOVE: June 2012• Three Year Commitment

What do we need?• ONE-TIME FUNDS:–Tickets, Visas, Shots, Moving container,

vehicle, generator, passports, etc.• MONTHLY SUPPORT:–Work Fund/Personal Salary

–We need 100 congregations or individuals to give $25/month.
