ACCESS TO CARE!•Our broker suggested we open a on-site clinic•TPA had been using on-site health & wellness clinics for 6 years•We looked at 3 models and then decided to go with the cost-basis model with an administrative fee for management services. All direct costs of operating the clinic are passed through to the city on a direct basis. •Initial set-up cost vary depending on construction of the clinic. Some client use existing space with modifications; others have created or renovated a new space. The mi-Care clinic requires space for 2 exam rooms, a small lab, bathroom, doctor’s office and a reception area.

“Do I have to go to miCare or can I stay with my regular doctor?” - It’s up to you to choose. The miCare clinic can provide nearly all the services you would need. The services are free of charge and convenient. Also, there is the added benefit to obtain the majority of your common generic medications through miCare.

FAQ’s

“Is my medical information confidential?”-YES, only the staff in the clinic, your wellness provider, and case management have the access to your information upon your consent – your employer does not have access to your medical information

“What if I wake up and I am sick? Can I get in the same day?”- Often you can; first look for an appointment on-line. If there isn’t one available, call the clinic to see if there is a walk-in appointment available.
