K-2 CONCERT
On Thursday 4 December, 2014, all students from Kindergar-
ten to Year 2 presented their Christmas Concert to an enthu-
siastic audience of parents, grandparents and carers. KT was
the first class to perform with a retelling of ‘Possum Magic’
and then showing off their Hula moves to ‘ Pearly Shell’. Rock
and Roll was the theme of the next item presented by 1/2W
as they danced and sang to ‘Splish, Splash I was taking a
Bath’. K/1W shared the story of ‘The Gruffalo’ acting out
some of the story and ending their performance with the
Gruffalo song. This was followed by 2S who entertained us
with two rap items –’Ain’t That Funky Now’ and ‘Hip Hop,
Can you Rock?’. The final class performance was by 1F who
played ‘Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star’ and ‘Jingle Bells’ on the
bells. All the classes then combined to sing a medley of
Christmas songs. All students did a fantastic job but a special
mention goes to Eboney Chapman and Asha McLeod who
were the announcers on the day (pictured below).
