In Ireland there are approximately 180 new cases o cervical cancer
every year and 73 deaths, i.e. 6 women on average die each monthrom cervical cancer.
Charter Medical Health & Wellness Department is now oering the
Cervical Cancer Vaccination on a “not or proft” basis.
We consider this vaccine to be one o the most important vaccines
developed recently and we believe it should be available to the widest
population o young women. With this in mind Charter Medical willbe providing this critical vaccine on a “not or proit” basis with a
ull course o Gardasil consisting o three injections administered or
€390.
Charter’s oer is available to girls over ten years o age. Our sta will
happily answer any queries when booking your appointment. Gardasil
vaccinations require three consecutive injections over a six month
period (irst vaccine, another 2 months later and the inal vaccine at
six months).
Charter Medical has used its purchasing power to provide this
vaccine on a not-or-proit basis. We ully support Family Doctors and
understand their rustrations at not being able to source the vaccine
cheaper or their practices in order to oer a similar service.
We are happy to announce that we have started a School VaccinationProgramme which includes an Inormation Evening or Parents, with
vaccines being subsequently administered, on site, by our medical
sta. For more inormation please contact our patient care team who
will be delighted to assist you.
