Facade Improvement Grants Awarded
The Chamber staff was very busy working extra hours during the holidays to maximize the volume of gift certificate sales for our community. We would like to thank all of the businesses and individuals who made purchases this year. Your support helps keep money circulating within our community and within The Chamber family. Pictured at right is Westerly Town Manager Michelle Buck who stopped in on a Saturday to purchase a large number of certificates.
Colin at Printing Plus has a new location on Main Street. Sean O’Brien of C.C. Obrien’s in Pawcatuck has new awnings and vinyl siding. Both projects were recipients of funding from The Chamber’s Facade Improvement Program. We were thrilled to be able to support these valued members in their efforts to improve their place of business. Their significant investments have improved the aesthetics of our downtown and will surely encourage others to upgrade their properties as well.
