Seen in unicellular (one cell) like bacteria.

CellsEukaryotes - Cells that

contain membrane bound organelles.

Seen in multicellular organisms and unicellular organisms like protists, algae and yeast.

Allows chemical reactions to happen in different parts of the cell at the same time.
