Friends of Tribal Society (FTS)
We are associated with FTS, under
the One Teacher School (OTS)
Program, or Ekal Vidyalaya, that takes
education to the doorstep of tribal
households across 18 states.
Woodkraft supports 20 such schools,
serving 400 students in Mysore, via a
fund used for infrastructure
maintenance, books, uniforms, etc.
Mahatma Vidyalaya
The School caters to the students
from 43 village within a 12 kms radius
from it and follows a policy of quality
education at minimum cost. Its main
objective is to create well-rounded
citizens, with strong moral and
spiritual values. Woodkraft is
associated with the repair of school
furniture and infrastructure, and
financial support.
Aid for Woodkraft workers’ children
For 10 years, we have been
supporting 50 children of our site-staff
with their school-fees.
HSP
HSP is committed to the upliftment of
disadvantaged poor, and those with
special needs, without discrimination
of caste, creed, race, and gender or
religion. We are associated with
adoption of 50 girls, covering their
expenses for school fees, books, food
and healthcare.
We have adopted 30 rural learning centres @ Gudibande, in Chikkaballapur District, which is being
managed by Youth For Seva Organization.
We also fund and support Vyakti Vikas Kendra and Janaseva Vidya Kendra, a boys' boarding school
run by the Janaseva Trust, and located on Magadi Road, Channenahalli, in Bangalore.
At Woodkraft, we strongly believe in the ‘Kyocera Philosophy’, which emphasizes on doing what is right for the humankind
