Strategy effectiveness measures in the CAP Excel tool…

… and more! Warren Lockwood - Conservation Data & Info Systems

Why a new version of the CAP workbook ?

Version 6b:• ConPro changed its data model• Needed to “harmonize” Miradi ConPro CAP Workbook

– Each “thing being measured” has its own indicator.– Monitoring “methods” are shared across indicators. – Most obvious change: “priority” and “progress” added to Viability table.– Version 6b data pack aligns with the new ConPro. (v6a doesn’t)

Versions 6a and 6b:• Incorporate ‘strategy effectiveness measures’

– tracking indicator measurements over time.– connecting measurements to objectives.

• Add user-requested features… new summary tables… flexible table formats
