Experimental Furniture in AB-7/106
In AB-7/106, we are experimenting withChair-a-Mez, a chair table combination thatis flexible and lets users sit in differentpostures, works for right and left handersand allows flexible layouts. Central Vista
The Central Vista work is completed andthere have been 400 trees planted. The JalMandap and other seating areas are open foruse. Some of the trees that are planted inthe Central Vista are Indian Tree of Heaven(Ailanthus excels), Neem, Kassod (SiameseSenna), Gulmohar, Banyan, Fig Tree, Mahua

Open Air Theatre
The detailed design for Open Air Theatre is completed. The construction activitieswill start soon. It is planed to have a capacity of 2000, and will be integrated witha garden, thus facilitating large events and evening walks alike.
Research Park & Incubation Center
Both the IITGN research park and the incubation center activities will soon move tothe recently completed Academic Block 9. In the meantime, a significantly largerresearch park facilty is being developed just north of the scenic drive. Thearchitectural deisgn activities are being concluded and the construction activitieswill start in the next few months.
Day Care Center
The IITGN Day Care Center was started in March 2014 as a community initiative toprovide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment to the children from IITGN families.In addition to daily care and activities, the center from time to time undertakes severalspecial activities such as kids-supported agriculture, summer camp, festival
celebrations, spots camps, various art, craft, and activity-workshops, and other suchinitiatives. This center has been steadily growing and currently engages more than 45of our children in various such activities.
