Fitness and the ability to play sports are very important to the Chinese people. The Chinese take all sports very seriously.

In a Chinese city no one lives far from a sports facility. Free gym equipment is arranged on many street corners. The city councils and school provide all weather basketball courts.

The Chinese people are very lucky to have free gym equipment. People who don’t have that much money will be able to use it. I think seeing gym equipment everywhere gives you incentive to exercise.

China participates in many different sports. China has a long history of Martial Arts which is a form of combat as well as exercise and relaxation. China is also famous for gymnastics, badminton, table tennis, and track and field and diving. New sports to the country are Soccer, Skiing and golf.

The Chinese are so enthusiastic about racing that their Grand Prix Racetrack is built in the shape of a Chinese character called “Shang” which is the first syllable of the city’s name.

A successful woman soccer player in the national Chinese soccer League can easily become a household name and star gymnasts are treated as heroes.

Chinese sports are an important thing in China. In Chinese Horse racing one person from each village competes. Horse racing is fun and hard at the same time.

In conclusion, I feel that the Chinese people think very highly about health and fitness. America should use china as an example in sports and fitness, maybe more people will be less over weight and more healthy.
