ROOM 607 NEWS REPORT

By Jake Wilner

Summary Who: P5+1 (U.K., U.S., Germany, France,

Russia, China, and the European Union) and Iran.

What: A deal halting Iran’s uranium enrichment process and in exchange providing relief for Iran’s economy.

When: November 23rd

Where: Iran Why: To prevent the Islamic Republic from

obtaining a nuclear bomb.

My Opinion

My opinion is that this is a good thing because it helps Iran’s economy and also prevents them from getting a weapon that they could possibly use against the U.S. or other countries in P5+1.

Other Opinions

Others might think that this is a bad thing because it holds back Iran’s uranium enrichment program. They also might think this is bad because it neutralizes Iran’s uranium stockpile
