Q: What have ExxonMobil, Credit Suisse, Rolls Royce, GSK and many employers in common with NTU?

A: They use attachments to spot and recruit NTUtalents.

20 weeks IA and 10 weeks IO, how will it affect me?

• “I can do more electives during semester since IO is from May to July”

• Scope and depth of learning/experience is very different between a 20week IA project and a 10 week IO project− 20 weeks > the usual 3 months job probation period; sufficient time for

employers to assess the potential, capability and other attributes of NTUstudents

“Is it worth for me to invest one semester to do IA? I gain more workexperience and possibly a chance to be recruited by the company if it usesattachment to spot talents.”

“I like to take up additional electives so that I can gain more knowledge inthose subjects. 10 weeks of work experience is good enough for me.”
