The Westside Church of Christ is a body of believers who seek andglorify the only true and living God. We trust the words of God given to usin the Bible and we believe that God sent his son, Jesus to earth to die for oursins. We fulfill this proclamation by serving others, worshiping, praising, anddeveloping relationships, with a desire to know the Word of God and, therefore, grow spiritually. We put our faith in God’s power to save,repenting of our sins, and participating in the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ through baptism.
Our church is under the leadership of elders, who encourage the spiritualgrowth of our congregation and look to follow God by leading our members. As a church, we continue to follow God’s plan in our livesas He desires.
Westside Church of Christ was started in the year 1999 and is located inAlvin, TX. For the past twelve years and into the future we invite you to have the same assurance that we cherish in Christ,that he will return one day to take His chosen people home.

This is the logo should look when color is available.
This is how the logo should look when color is not available.
The logo is built around a tree, which is used because the church has always been represented by a tree. The logo is also built around the slogan which is about growing together with Christ. The three examples above are the only way the logo should be presented.

Typography
The typography is a very important part of a corporate identity.The typography is responsible for giving the overall feeling, voice,and emotion. With the right typography anything is possible.

Lithos Pro was selected because it gives off the feeling of being forgien and lets us take a trip back to the old dayswhen Jesus walked the earth. Century Gothic was chosen because of its simplicity and that it gives a nice contrastbetween old and new.

Pantone 361 C=45 M=0 Y=100 K=42
Pantone 161 C=0 M=52 Y=100 K=64
PMS 361 and PMS 161 were chosen because they representnature, and are the colors more often associated with budding trees. Preferred color printing is with the Pantonecolor system, but if the colors are not available please tryto match the colors chosen.

Voice
General Configuration Style:
All product names and the first letters at the beginning of sentences shouldbe captizled.
Indentions are not required.
All collateral must have the Westside logo present.
Be wary of page breaks and only use when necessary.
Headings shold be size 48 and sub-headings should be size 21.
Text should be size 18
When enlarging the logo the text should stay at 14 and only the tree and cross be enlarged.
Headings and sub headings should be Pantone 361 and regular text should be Pantone 161.
When using the logo the one without the slogan is prefred but if the slogan is needed the logo with the slogan is available.
