Bottle structure and technical issues:Bottle structure and technical issues:The main stress is due to retorting at 120° C, beyond the softening point, which causes slight but permanent deformations. Above deformation are predictable and acceptable provided the heat treatment and the bottle parameters are suitable and very accurate. The bottle body is strengthen by ribs, granting elasticity.The bottom is thick and deeply concave.The neck is with dome, providing suitable heat sealing surface.The bottle weight is about 10% to 15% higher. Co-extrusion: black layer for sunlight protection during long shelf life.
