This year’s Ganjam DistrictBook Fair would be held
from December 15 to 25 at theJC High School ground here,informed book fair committeesecretary Bhawani SankarPanigrahi at a Press meet.
Panigrahi said that as manyas 50 stalls would be put up inthe fair, in which many bookpublishers and distributorswould participate. During thefair, cultural meetings, poetryrecitations and many otherprogrammes would be helddaily, he added.

‘Odisha Political Circus’ BrajaSubudhi and Debabrata wouldbe the main attraction of thefair. Among others, BhawaniSankar Mishra, DrChandramani Swain, DebiPrasad Sahu, Jagannath Sabat,Debi Prasad Mahapatra, GopalKrushna Dakua, Surjya Patra,Kailash Panigrahi and BijayKumar Padhy were present.

The Prelude launched amusic video entitled as ‘Mo
Odisha To Odisha’ whichshows the rich culture andtradition of Odisha.
The video was launched onMOTV, a new Youtube chan-nel, at Bocca Café,Bhubaneswar. The song is ded-
icated to the hospitable peopleof Odisha and its beautifulculture, rich heritage and scenicplaces.
The “Mo Odisha ToOdisha” shows where a younggirl visits Odisha , a State ofprosperous culture where peo-ple of diverse faith lives in har-mony, where she adapts to thecustom, rituals , wonderfulplaces of Odisha.
The music video whichhas many elements of Odishais conceptualized by SatyabratSanu Ratho. India’s Raw Starwinner Rituraj Mohanty haslent his voice in the video.
The music direction of thevideo is given by Sudip Jenawith the lyrics given byChinmoy Das and SamitPatnaik. Cinematography andediting is done by SoumyaMohanty.
The music video is direct-ed by Chinmay Das. It featuresnew artists Fubuki and SilvaShiva.
The video also featuresrenowned sculptorPadmabibhushan GuruRaghunath Mohapatra, sandartist Padmashri SudarshanPatnaik and Odishi dancerPadmashri Aruna Mohanty.

International Human RightsDay under chairmanship of itspresident Manaj Jena here onMonday.
A meeting held on theoccasion was inaugurated withgarlanding of the Dr BRAmbedkar statue by Prof GolakBihari Nath. Retired adminis-trator Dr Kalyan Ray, advisorMadhusudan Yadav, AamAadmi Party State presidentNishikant Mohapatra, retiredadministrator and Baleswardistrict president PramodPattayat and State coordinatorPrashant Mallick spoke on theimportance of the day.
“Even 70 years after theWorld Human Rights wasannounced and 68 years afterthe Constitution of India cameto the force, many communi-
ties have been deprived ofhuman rights. Lakhs of fami-lies have been deprived ofhomestead lands and otherbasic facilities in the State,”lamented Jena.
Among others, districtpresidents and convenors likeRabindra Deep, SureshRajhans, Gangadhar Hans,Prasanna Mallick, Rajesh Jena,Gourang Mallick, Rajib Nayak,Kamakshya Prasad Nayak,

The Human Rights Daycelebration was followed by aState committee meeting whereit was decided to hold a Statelevel protest meeting in Januaryto press for availing of land,education and health facilitiesand protest communal dishar-mony.

To depict Mahabharata scenesthrough the art of clay, a cave
shaped exhibition would be setup at Gita Gyan Sansthanam dur-ing the ongoing InternationalGita Mahotsav, 2018 atKurukshetra.
The exhibition will be for-mally inaugurated by BJPPresident, Amit Shah andPresident of Mauritius,Paramasivum Pillay Vyapoory onDecember 13 An officialspokesman said that through thisexhibition, 650 books of holyscripture, The Bhagvad Gitawritten in 40 different languagesof India and abroad would beexhibited.
He said that the exhibitionwould be set up at Gita GyanSansthanam for the visitors fromIndia and abroad duringInternational Gita Mahotsav,2018. Special artists have beeninvited to put up this exhibition.These artists have made the cavewith clay. They have also madea clay statue of Arjuna with bowwhich is installed at the entranceof the exhibition.
