Standards Based Grading•Relates teaching & learning to assessments and back again – full circle•Gives meaning to learning – knowing exactly what was learned {especially not learned}•Relates real-world to learning•Gives stakeholders a sense of what is actually being learned and taught – connecting the two and bringing them together

Math assessments can be taken online. Scores are recorded and skills are tracked!

Individual and classroom snapshot reports give more information to students, teacher, and parents.

Math assessments:Then vs. Now

80% score reported Skills learned reported

Learned skills are tracked and students are able to see which skills they have mastered and which skills still need practice. No longer is an “80%” good enough

information to report. The skills learned or not learned need to be reported.
