The prevailing pressure of the tubingsystem is present in the pressure cham-ber of the (V)PENV-A-... and is showndirectly on the display by means of apiezoresistive element with a down-stream electronic evaluator. The (V)PENV-A-... can be programmedelectrically as a normally-closed or nor-mally-open contact. It serves for monito-ring pressure changes in the pressuresystem and for converting pneumaticpressure values into electrical signals, which can be used for open and closed-loop control purposes.
• Make sure that all high-frequency devices (e.g. walkie-talkies, portabletelephones and other devices whichproduce interference) are kept awayfrom the (V)PENV-A-...In this way you can avoid increasedtolerances (compare the specifica-tions on EMC in the section "Technical specification").
Electrical isolation of the operating voltages
• Use an isolating transformer as perEN 60 742 with at least 4 kV isolation resistance.

Einbau
mechanisch
Für Einzeleinbau:a) Adapter
- für einschiebbare Füße mit Bohrung oder
- für H-Schiene (separat zu bestellen)
Für Huckepackeinbau:b) Halter zur Direktmontage an
Wartungsgeräten (separat zu bestellen, siehe Zubehör)
Fitting
Mechanical
• Position the (V)PENV-A-... so that there is sufficient space for:- the connections,
- operating the EDIT button (e.g. withthe tip of a ball-point pen).
• Proceed with the fitting as follows:
1. Select the desired mounting attachment for fastening.
For individual fitting:a) adapter
- for retractable feet withhole or
- for hat rail (must be ordered separately).
For piggyback fitting:b) support for fitting directly onto
service units (must be ordered separately, see section "Accessories").

elektrisch1. Verkabeln Sie den (V)PENV-A-... nach
Bild 10.
Erdpotential.Nur so werden die ausgewiesenentechnischen EMV-Daten erreicht.
3. Isolieren Sie ungenutzte Aderenden.
Electrical1. Connect the cables of the
(V)PENV-A-... as shown in Fig. 10.
A protective circuit against inductivevoltage peaks, caused by inductiveloads at the switching outputs, has beenincorporated into the (V)PENV-A-... .
With this circuit, the Festo solenoid coilsas shown in Fig. 11 can be operatedwithout further protective measure.2. Connect the shielding to ground.
This is necessary for conformancewith EMC requirements.
3. Insulate unused cable ends.
