the aim of this project has been to identify and trial a diverse range ofcollaborative Information Communication Technology (ICT) tools that:(a) could support engagement between the university and its externalcollaborative business and community partners(b) enable secure exchange of information
(c) be safely embedded with the current university IT infrastructure.Thus, various online software, such as Wikis, Plone, Joomla andWordPress, have been tested to explore how these supportcommunication and information exchange via a dedicated projectserver. This communication has been also supplemented by other ICTtechnologies supporting synchronous and asynchronouscommunication.
