Security -Key Facts
• Venue Security Command Centre (VSCC) co –located in the Event Control Room (ECR) at Enclosed.
• SEC 24 hours per day (MDS overnight)
• ‘OFF’ hours SEC are in control of the site. ‘ON’ hours VMA are in control of the site. Handover process at the start/end of each day.
• A blend of Private Contract Security (Sword) & Police to secure inside the venue
• Phased increase of SEC personnel from now until games
• Police to operate at VPC, PSAs & VSA
• Reject route to redirect vehicles without VAPPS
• Police to patrol the external perimeter OC internal perimeter

SVB Evacuation Procedure
Overall Procedure
Ensure appropriate records are brought to the assembly point. Guest List and Staff List.
HOD’s to report to reception to assist with the fire guard evacuation system (duty manager assumes responsibility)
Assist with evacuation – identify disabled/special needs guest(s) and those elderly or with small children.
Roll Call – list missing persons and their likely locations.
Liaise with Fire Brigade upon arrival.
Take appropriate action for guest welfare and hospitality gestures. 64
