Balloon Atrioseptostomy Catheters
These catheters, engineered for maximum steering and tracking, have micro-thin balloons which do not distort during pullback, allowing the balloon size to be smaller than competitive catheters

• Catheter is engineered for maximum steering and tracking
• Dual lumen shaft design provides pushability coupled with exceptional pull strength
• Catheter end hole can be utilized for a guidewire, contrast injection or blood analysis
• The balloon is micro-thin for a low deflated profile that maintains tip flexibility;
this exceptionally low profile requires a small introducer sheath
• Material is the same as that used in Tyshak™ and Z-Med™ balloon catheters
• The reduced balloon size is ideal for septostomy in the neonate with a small left atrium
• The shape of the spherical balloon does not deform during pullback, allowing the balloon size to be
smaller than competitive catheters
• Catheter tip is angled at 35 degrees to facilitate passage into the left atrium
