Greetings from your
Board of Directors! 2012 looks to be an exciting
year for Hawkeye Com-
munity Theatre. We have
some excellent shows in
the lineup this year, with some great
directors in charge. I’m confident that
they can cast them with very talented
actors, and thoroughly entertain us with
each and every show. If you haven’t
checked them out yet, go to our website
f o r m o r e i n f o r m a t i o n –
www.hawkeyetheatre.com.
Our theatre building has undergone
some major upgrades in the past two
years. If you haven’t been there in
awhile, we invite you to come and see it. We have a new roof, new carpet,
new curtains, new sound system, and
the inside has been completely re-
painted. We have also taken out the old
inefficient boiler, and replaced it with
forced air furnaces to keep you more
comfortable while you are entertained.
We have more exciting plans in the
future, so keep coming back to the
shows and checking progress.
Having great shows and a remodeled
theatre is only part of the equation. We
also need the seats full of audience
members to enjoy the shows and thea-
tre. That is one of our major goals for this upcoming year, and you can help
us. Our theatre seems to be one of the
area’s best kept secrets, and we intend
to change that. If you have enjoyed a
show here, spread the word. Tell your
friends, neighbors, and relatives! If you
have had a less than enjoyable experi-
ence here, please tell the Board so that
we have the opportunity to make any
changes necessary.
Come join us for a show or a season,
and bring a group with you. We have
plenty of great seats available. See you
at the theatre!.

maybe not happily, but
they are trying to find
that elusive quantity in new relationships. Evie
is seeing Carter, a
slightly younger coffee salesman, and in him
she’s trying to nurture
renewed happiness, even if it kills him.
Duncan, on the other
hand, had a head start
and had already initiated a relationship
with the pretty, young
and nearly anorexic, Caitlin. He see her as
his second chance at real happiness,
but she prefers the exhilaration of when they were sneaking around
behind Evie’s back. The one

In order to send their orphaned niece to a fancy art school in Europe two
sisters become "sisters" of charity
and begin begging on the street. One
afternoon they arrive home to find their "hard earned" savings being
stolen by a young man with "good
intentions." After hearing the sisters’ secret, their new cat burglar friend
joins in on the scheme just in time to
have the whole operation interrupted by a nosy cop. Things turn out to be
not-so-bad when the cop decides he’s
not above doing a bit of business on
the side. Things seem to be going well for all until the artsy niece
arrives home from Europe and they
must hide the truth from her only to find she is hiding a secret of her own.
Will the four cheating cheaters be
able to continue their charade or will they become the cheated?
