2. Dashboard Overview
Introducing Preview Of Dashboard
SAP Business One 8.8 PL12 delivers a first framework to
run Dashboards.
Delivered Dashboard content in PL12 is intended to be
limited to preview and example purposes. SAP wants to
obtain feedback from partners.
Moving forward, SAP intends to continue to deliver
improved dashboard capabilities in the 8.8 release family.
Productive usage of dashboards could be possible, but
under the responsibility of the partner and customer.
Special attention needs to be given to upfront testing,
especially performance testing.
Hardware requirements, complexity of dashboards and
volume of data retrieval can significantly influence
performance and experience.
Even though it is possible to develop own dashboards (how-
to-guide to be released), please consider that the process is
very manual and technical at this moment in time. There
are currently no tools or wizards.
