Dear Colleague:On behalf of the Precision Strike Association, it is my pleasure to invite you to our
2004 Winter Roundtable. As you can see, this year’s theme “Global Military Strategy andRole of Precision Strike” sets the tone for a new year full of new challenges, demands, andcontinuing opportunities for government and industry collaboration on force applicationrequirements and, in particular, precision engagement concepts. This cross-cutting strategy speaks to the on-going transformation of each service to yield a joint, fully integrated force that will meet the battlefield challenges of the future. We continue to seeevidence of the growing importance of precision strike systems in transforming ournational military strategy.
We have structured this outstanding roundtable to provide you with a deeper under-standing of options that will define the debate over our national defense policies andstrategy. We are very pleased to have assembled an exceptional roster of knowledgeablespeakers who will provide you with an opportunity to participate in discussions on thetoughest issues that confront both government and industry leaders. They will cover abroad spectrum of important subject matter supplemented by your thoughts and ideas.
I am also pleased to invite you to join us as we present this year’s Precision StrikeAssociation William J. Perry Award to the JDAM team, represented by The BoeingCompany and the United States Air Force Joint Program Office. This award recognizespublic or private sector leadership or technical achievements that result in significant contribution to precision strike systems. I think you will agree that, in light of the greatoperational advantages JDAM offered the combatant commanders in OEF and OIF,those who developed this weapons system are true visionaries and well deserving of this award.
This will be the 13th Winter Roundtable and one you will not want to miss. Bring an associate with you!
