Board� Terms for the Incoming Directors begin at the

conclusion of Meetings

� Roughly ½ of Directors are nominated each year, forming two “classes” of Directors, so that at least ½ of the Directors have previous service on the Board for continuity

� Terms run 2 Years (again they alternate for each class)

� A Board Member may be nominated to serve up to 3 consecutive terms

� In 2015, TMS accepted a Bylaws change that reduced the number of Zones from 7 to 5 and added several “at large” directors

Bennett Banting, at McMaster University for his dissertation titled: "Seismic Performance Quantification of Concrete Block Masonry Structural Walls with Confined Boundary Elements and Development of the Normal Strain-Adjusted Shear Strength Expression (NSSSE)" under the direction of Dr. Wael W. El-Dakhakhni.
