In a short span of 18 years, The Faculty of Hotel Management, Amrapali Group of Institutes has carved out a distinct niche in the academic and intellectual world across pan-India. Located in the state of Uttarakhand, adjacent to the world-renowned Jim Corbett National Park and nestled in the lap of the mighty Himalayas; Amrapali Institute of Hotel Management has gained the status of being one of the India's premier professional Institute in the field of hospitality.
The enthusiasm and passion exhibited during the discussions on “Future Trends and Competencies in Tourism and Hospitality Industry- Opportunities and Challenges” during AVAHAN 2017 has encouraged us to introduce other
THdiscussions at the forthcoming AVAHAN 2019 themed as “PREPARING EDUCATION FOR THE EFFECTS OF 04 INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION ON HOSPITALITY AND TOURISM INDUSTRY”. This emerging theme is way forward from the outputs from the previous year theme & fruitful discussions by then eminent panelist in the form of requirements of the industry and the advances in academia. Also, The Travel &Tourism and Hospitality Industry with changing dynamics is in lookout for multi-skilled, multi-tasking employees. We are looking for a new horizon in form of student centric & active continuous learning base for thr student fraternity. In this direction, this year’s AVAHAN will also have two work-shop based interactive learning sessions by imminent Industry experts on the happening in Hospitality & hotel Industry .The panel interaction will be enhanced to a higher level in form of Expert & Student two-way interactive sessions on Hospitality & Tourism topics. Lastly, we will Explore Collaborative research by Hotel Professionals with Faculty and or student for overall learning.The Hospitality Educational Institutions needs to understand and address these changing scenarios in industry to
stthe student fraternity. Keeping these challenges and changes in mind, we are conducting AVAHAN 2019 on 01 ndand 02 February 2019. This will bring in new insights and developments that will involve researchers, scholars,
academicians, practioners, cutting edge speakers and students contribute fruitful discussions related to the theme.

nd rdof Hotel Management, dated the 22 and 23 of September 2017. The achievements were the insights given by leading professionals and intellectuals of the Travel and Tourism industry, Hotel industry and its related organizations from India & across the globe. The meet was chaired by Prof. Pradeep Nair, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Taylor's University Malaysia , Prof. Syed Rashidul Hasan- Professor, Dept. of Tourism, University of Bangladesh and Dr. Lilibeth Aragon- Dean, College of International Tourism and Hospitality Management, Lyceum of the Philippines University, Manila's, and Many dignified personalities from reputed institutes and universities of India like Dr. S.K. Gupta, CMTHS, H.N.B Garhwal University, Srinagar, Garhwal, Dr. Nimit Chowdhary - Professor, Tourism, Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi, Prof. P.K Gupta from IHM, Yamunanagar, Delhi, Prof. Vinay Rana of IHM Graphic Era, Dehradun, Prof. Neeraj Agarwal from Panjab University, Chandigarh, Dr. Sandeep Walia from Chandigarh University and Dr. Ashok Kumar from Kumaon University. The central theme of discussion was Hospitality, competitiveness & stability in the hospitality sector. An important aspect of the two-day conference was panel discussions between the academicians and the dignitaries from hospitality industry. The fruitful discussions by eminent panelist led to food for thought in the form of requirements of the industry and the advances in academia. The prospective studies and lectures along with demonstration and paper presentations made the event an affable international platform of sharing and learning. The productive output of this is published in the form of peer reviewed international journal - Volume 5, ISSN 2347-4556.

§ Paper abstract (maximum 500 words) should be submitted to conference@amrapali.ac.in for review and selection.
§ The abstract should summarize the key points of the paper with a maximum of 5 keywords that define the subject matter.
§ All the paper abstracts will be reviewed and authors of the accepted paper abstracts will be invited for full paper submission.
§ Once the abstract is accepted, at least one of the authors must register and physically present for paper presentation at the Conference.
§ Selected papers will be considered for publication in annual hospitality journal of Amrapali Institute of Hotel Management - AVAHAN (a peer reviewed International Journal)
§ Manuscripts submitted to International conference on “Industrial Revolution on Hospitality and Tourism Industry” should be original contribution and should not have been previously published nor under consideration for publication elsewhere. Individual and multiple authors (maximum three) are welcome to contribute.
§ Manuscripts must be written in English. § Manuscripts should not exceed 5,000 words.§ All contributions should follow the format and style
described in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA, 6th edition).
§ All manuscripts should be typed in MS WORD format, single-spaced with one-inch margins and using 12-point Times New Roman font (exception of tables 10-point Times New Roman).
§ Manuscripts should include the following major sections & sequence: title, affiliation of the authors (e.g. university name, country), abstract (not more than 500 words), keywords (3-5 words only), main body(Introduction,LiteratureReview, Methodology, Findings, Conclusion) and references.
