Decibel

• Decibel: A unit used to express relative difference in power or intensity, usually between two acoustic or electric signals, equal to ten times the common logarithm of the ratio of the two levels.

• Lets take a look at how many decibels common things produce.

LCD• LCD: Stands for "Liquid Crystal Display."

LCD’S are super-thin displays that are used in laptop computer screens and flat panel monitors. Smaller LCD’S are used in handheld TV’S, PDA’S, and portable video game devices.

Lens• Lens: A transparent optical element

consisting of one or more pieces of glass. A lens has curved surfaces that bring distant light to a focus.

Pixel

• Pixel: A single dot on a computer display or in a digital image.

Megapixel• Mega pixel: In digital imaging devices

mega pixels define the resolution range when the number of pixels is equal to, or greater than 1,000,000 pixels.
