Lot #98 – A Meat PackageBuyers will be bidding on one pure bred Murray Grey owned and bred by Willow Gully Murray Grey Stud in Waimauku. This animal weaned on 27th March 2016 and weighed 253 Kgs. Willow Gully Stud will continue to graze and finish the animal until he reaches a live weight of 450 kgs (producing around half that weight boned out) at no cost to the purchaser and will then co ordinate with the purchaser, at their cost, to have the animal slaughtered, and assist them co ordinate with a Home Kill specialist butcher to sort out cuts of meat.
By Willow Gully Stud continuing to finish the animal for the purchaser this will well and truly satisfy the rules surrounding ownership of animals being sold for Home Kill purposes. The full value is estimated to be $1000 to $1200
