Kappa Delta 2012-2016
Vice-President Member Education (2014-2015)—Educator to the New Members on the values and rituals of KD; keeps the chapter
educated on opportunities and provides content that inspires our members to be their best selves. Plans Bid Day, Big/Little
Reveals, pledge class mixers, and informational seminars. Had 100% retention of New Members.
Vice-President Operations (2013-2014)—Ensures that the chapter runs efficiently and effectively; establishes Chapter Excellence
(CX) goals for the chapter; assures that the chapter focuses on the big p icture and guides appointed offices to make goals that
coincide with CX goals.
Sisterhood Enrichment Team (SET) Leader (2013)—Works with the New Members during their new member period on learning
the values and expectations of KD; assistant to the VP-ME, facilitator for stages and SET meetings, and mentor to New Members.
Variety Show Leadership Team (2013-2014)—Works with a team of six to come up with a musical show; involved choreography,
costume design, storyboard, and problem solving skills. Won best choreography and best costumes (two years in a row).
Slate Committee—A committee of six that interviews applicants for council positions to select the best candidates and ensure that
the new council will lead the chapter onto bigger and better things that live up to our standards.
Senator (2012-2013)—Serves as the face for KD on the Student Government Association.
National Collegiate Training Academy (NCTA) (2013)—A weekend of extensive officer training that develops leadership skills,
professional skills, and business etiquette.
Younglife Leader (2012-2014)
Volunteer mentoring program that introduces adolescents to Jesus Christ and helps them grow in their faith.
Worked with a group of like-minded individuals on a weekly basis; involved a lot of public speaking, thinking on your feet, and
being prepared for an endless amount of awkward situations.
Attended a six-week training program that educates on how to interact with teenagers and be a consistent presents in their life.
