Clamp the magnet on the spoke of front wheel with the screwprovided and attach the sensor to the right fork by using cableties as shown in Fig. 2. INTRODUCTION

Attach the mounting bracketto the right side of the han-dlebar by using a screwdriv-er as shown in Figs. 4a & 4b.Make sure the mountingbracket is clamped tightlyand will not slip on the han-dlebar with the rubber shimsprovided. Adjust the positionof the mounting bracket asshown in Fig 5 and fix it bylocking the 3 screws tightly. Figure 4a

Slide the computer onto the mounting bracket until it snapsfirmly into position. Press the release button to take out thecomputer as shown in Fig. 6.

Auto Start/StopTo preserve batteries, the cycle computer will automaticallyswitch off if the unit is left unused for over 5 to 6 minutes.Display will reappear with a press on either button or inputfrom the sensor.

Press and hold LEFT andRIGHT buttons for 2 sec-onds or after the replace-ment of battery, the unitwill switch to wheel sizeinput mode. Multiply wheeldiameter, D (Fig. 7) in mil-limeters by 3.1416 todetermine wheel factor, C.

Press the LEFT button toselect digit to be input andthe RIGHT button to adjustthe digit to the desirednumber (hold for fastadvance). Press the LEFTbutton again to advance toKM/MILE selection. (Note:Removing battery willerase Wheel Size Input)

KM/MILE SelectionAfter the wheel size input,the following function isselection of units for dis-tance (Km or miles). Pressthe RIGHT button tochoose between Kilometer(KM) and Mile (M), pressthe LEFT button to confirm.

SpeedometerInstantaneous Speed is indicated on the top line.The range of measurement is from 0 to 99KM/hr(0 to 99M/hr) and accuracy is + /-0.5KM/hr (M/hr).

Odometer (ODO)Total distance traveled is indicated by ODO anddisplayed on the bottom line. To reset ODO, pressand hold LEFT and RIGHT buttons for 2 secondsor remove the battery. Press the right button toenter DST mode.

Tripmeter (DST)Trip distance measurement is indicated by DSTand is displayed on the bottom line. Tripmeter isactivated automatically with speedometer input.

Reset DST to zero by pressing the LEFT buttonfor 2 seconds. NOTE: TM (Trip Time) and AVS(Average Speed) will also be reset at that time.Press the RIGHT button to enter MXS mode.

Maximum Speed (MXS)Maximum speed measurement is indicated byMXS and is displayed on the bottom line.Maximum speed is stored in memory and updatesonly when a higher speed is reached. To resetMXS mode, press and hold the LEFT button inthe MXS mode. Press the RIGHT button toenter AVS mode.

Average Speed (AVS)Average Speed measurement is indicated by AVSand is displayed on the bottom line. AVS is calcu-lated using the Trip Timer and Tripmeter. Pressthe RIGHT button to enter TM mode.

Trip Timer (TM)Trip timer measurement is indicated by TM and isdisplayed on the bottom line. Trip Timer is activat-ed automatically with speedometer input (whenthe front wheel is turning). It records only the timespent actually riding. Reset TM to zero by press-ing the LEFT button for 2 seconds in DST mode.

Scan (SCAN)The scan mode allows DST, MXS, AVS and TM tocycle on the screen without pressing any keys.Press and hold the RIGHT button for two secondsin any mode screen to cycle through each modescreen one time. Or, press the RIGHT button inthe TM mode screen to enter continuous scanmode.

Freeze Frame Memory(Flashing Display)This feature allows you to store a snapshot of thedisplay for an extended period of time. This fea-ture is useful at the end of a race, allowing you tohold a record of your time, distance, averagespeed and maximum speed.

Activate Freeze Frame MemoryIn any mode, press the LEFT button. The displaywill flash, indicating the freeze frame feature isactivated. You may now toggle through the displayscreens by pressing the RIGHT button.

Deactivate Freeze Frame MemoryPress the LEFT button again to deactivate freezeframe memory and return to normal operation.

Odometer Save FunctionThe SAVE function allows you to keep the impor-tant data of total distance (ODO) even after bat-tery replacement. To set ODO after batteryreplacement and wheel size setting, press RIGHTbutton to advance to ODO mode and then holdLEFT button for 2 seconds until the last digit isflashing.

To adjust number, press the RIGHT button andthen press the LEFT button to confirm and selectdigit to be input. Repeat this sequence to reachthe desired odometer value. Press the LEFT but-ton again to return to normal ODO mode.

Computer:Remove the battery cover from thebottom of the computer using asmall coin. Install the 3V batterywith positive (+) pole facing thecover as in Fig. 1a. If the LCDshows irregular figures, take outthe battery and install again. Thiswill clear and restart the computer’smicroprocessor.

Transmitter:Remove the battery cover from thetop of the transmitter using a smallcoin. Install the 12V battery with pos-itive (+) pole facing the battery cap.Replace the cap and be sure it istight to prevent moisture leakage.See Fig. 1b

WHEEL SIZE INPUT

COMPUTER FUNCTIONSClock (12H/24H)A 12 or 24-hour digital clock is displayed inthe lower row of the screen. To switchbetween the 12 and 24 hour format or toadjust time, advance to the clock mode andpress the LEFT button for 2 seconds. “24H”will start to flash. Use the RIGHT button toselect “12H” for 12 hour format or “24H” for24-hour format. Press the LEFT button to con-firm. Next the hour digits will start to flash.Use the RIGHT button to select the hour. Tochange minutes, press LEFT button again.The minutes will start to flash. Use the RIGHTbutton to select the minutes. Press the LEFTbutton once more to return to clock mode.Press the RIGHT button to enter ODO mode.

Speed ComparatorA ”+” or “-” sign appears to the right of thespeed. “+” indicates you are traveling fasterthan your average speed (AVS). A “-”indicates you are riding slower than youraverage speed.

Speed Tendency(Acceleration & Deceleration)A cyclist symbol appears to the left of thespeed. The wheel turns forward to indicateacceleration. The wheel turns backwards toindicate deceleration.
