Opening shot – extreme close upGansta music playing – sets the scene and genre of the filmHe’s wearing his hood up – enigma code – creates a sense of mysteryHe’s smoking – action code The camera cuts between an extreme close up of his face to extreme close ups of two other characters as they have a conversation.

Camera cuts between shots of the 3 characters as there walking along – builds tension 2 black men and 1 white – Binary opposites – (foreshadowing) they might not be on the same side as he is

After each characters face is shown it cuts to a close up of all three of them

Camera effect is used to make the shots dark – creates a tense atmosphereAfter this shot the atmosphere changes from tense and dramatic to humours – brightness changes

Colours change – grass becomes a brighter shade of green – looks better on the tv!

Point of view shot is used here – see things from the protagonists point of view – adds comedic effect

Close up of a character, camera then zooms out and pans up towards the sky until all that is in the frame is the clouds
