Linking museum collections with Leeds communities

A Leeds couple, Harry and Amanda Lee, lent us this photo from their wedding at the shrine of the Tenrikyo faith in Japan in 2000, for the Tales from Japan exhibition in 2001. They put us in touch with Mr Kato, of the Tenrikyo Mission in Leeds.

In July 2012 Leeds chef and businesswoman, Hansa Dabhi, spoke at the Asian Expulsion from Uganda commemorative event at Leeds City Museum and provided tastings of East African Gujarati flavours, courtesy of her Hansas restaurant, Leeds
