Background
1. At the top of the screen, click “Format”
2. From the dropdown menu, choose “Background”
3. Choose background color and click “Apply to All”
4. If the background you desire is not shown, click “More Colors” or “Fill Effects” then do step 3
Slide Layout
• On your first slide you must choose how it will look
• At the top of the screen, click “Format”• From the dropdown menu, choose “Slide
Layout”• A box will appear with options of different slides• The box with a person in it refers to a picture,
and the box with writing in it refers to text
Slide 2
• The second slide needs to include:
– Name of your animal
– Picture of your animal
– Description of your animal
Adding a Picture From Clip Art
• At the bottom of the screen, click the “Insert Clip Art” button
• From that screen type your animals name in the search box
• Once you choose a picture clickon it and the picture will appear on the slide
• You can make the picture larger or smaller just by using your mouse
• Once your picture is the correct size use your mouse to move it anywhere on the slide
Adding a Picture From the Internet
• On the web page use your mouse and right click on the picture
• Click on “Save Picture As” and save your animal picture into your folder under the animal name, click “Save”
• At the bottom of the screen, click the “Picture” button
• Find your picture in your folder and click “Insert”

• They are regular tigers with whiskers and tails, just colored white
• Along with white fur they have black stripes
• Many have blue eyes• Others have amber or
green eyes• 450-750 pounds• 9-11 feet in length

• White tigers average 2-6 cubs in a litter
• Cubs are born blind• Cubs weigh ~2.5 pounds• White tigers are cared for
and brought up by their mothers
• Parents teach the cubs how to hunt for food
• Cubs will stay with their parents for 7 months
