Concord College was founded in 1889 by agroup of businessmen wanting a new kind ofuniversity.Todayithasgot2,500undergraduatestudents and 500 graduate students. St John’s College was founded in 1511 by Lady Margaret Beaufort, the mother of King Henry VII. It is the second largest of the Cambridge colleges. It has got about 530 undergraduates and 300 graduate students studying a wide range of subjects. First-year undergraduates usually have their own room and share kitchen and shower facilities. Rooms are allocated to students before they arrive. The very large library and computer connections in every room mean that students have got the best possible conditions for study.
